Before helping people secure their dream properties, Kirsty was a high school science teacher and an Australian Longboard Surfing Champion. Both these roles enhanced her problem-solving skills and drive to always ‘go one better’, both of which have been essential in her current career. Kirsty knows that hard work, knowledge and good relationships will yield results when it comes to mortgage broking.
“I love being able to give choice to our clients, which leads to greater success and better outcomes for them,” says Kirsty.
Kirsty’s wealth of experience means clients can put their trust in her to do the finance legwork, and they can focus on the excitement of their new property.
After an extensive career as a musician in the military and owning a music education business, Andrew changed his tune as he approached a milestone birthday. He was ready to take his leadership and motivational skills and apply them in a different way.
As the Director of Operations and Growth, Andrew oversees Living Home Loans’ processes to ensure clients are not just satisfied, but impressed, with the service they receive.
“For many years the banks had a stranglehold on this space, so it is very refreshing that we now have over 60% of loans being written by mortgage brokers,” says Andrew.
Andrew also has a strong mortgage broking background, where he enjoyed helping clients obtain property finance (and finding creative solutions for their loan requirements), sourcing out-of-the-box lenders where necessary. His role at Living Home Loans allows him to continue to be an innovative and creative leader, giving him a huge amount of professional satisfaction.
Before joining Living Home Loans, Garry had a long and respected career in both mortgage broking and vehicle finance. Garry has seen clients get knocked back by their bank on many occasions, only for him to then obtain them property finance approval at a better rate than their current bank was offering!
“Mortgage brokers offer a wide selection of products and rates, which keeps the home loan market competitive and makes lenders battle for business. The winner is the customer, as we bring all the lenders to them and make the process simple,” says Garry.
With her established real estate background and current mortgage broking training, Liah has the right industry knowledge to assess client home loan applications. She thrives on delivering the best outcome for clients and helping them achieve property finance success.
“There’s always something to learn from every interaction; the client, lender and scenario are never the same,” says Liah.
Liah is a newly qualified mortgage broker and she is keen to build her career, learning from the Senior Brokers at Living Home Loans.
Anastasia performs various office management duties including clerical support, and often handles tasks that have a direct effect on the culture and success of the business.
She’s the driver behind staff and business events such as charity fundraisers, plus Anastasia also manages Living Home Loan’s social media.
Anastasia’s background as a loan processor and credit analyst makes her a gun when it comes to being involved in client outcomes, as she’s already familiar with the terminology and processes in mortgage broking.
“No matter how many questions our clients ask, we’re here to help them. We also help clients understand complex financial terms and concepts by breaking them down into simple language,” say Anastasia.
She also has the busy task of managing Kirsty and Andrew’s calendars and schedules.
Sarah’s role at Living Home Loans allows her to lead by example and to support the analysts to provide excellent client outcomes. The most experienced loan processor, she has the important task of organising and delegating workloads. She’s the gatekeeper who ensures a well-organised workplace so the team can work cohesively and the processes run smoothly.
“It amazes me how all the factors come together at the right time for our clients and how the whole team contributes to making our clients dream a reality. The home loan process is a journey, and it’s beneficial to have a trusted team on your side, helping you get to where you want to go,” says Sarah.
Mark is the man who pays attention to all the finer details, to ensure Living Home Loan clients have the right documentation at the right time, and it gets where it needs to go! With his background in sales, Mark has always enjoyed working with a variety of people and his role at Living Home Loans allows him to do just that.
“The satisfaction in the process and finishing a deal is unmatched … many people would probably settle for a more expensive deal without mortgage brokers,” says Mark.
Nikki ensures that all is ready for Living Home Loans to prepare loans for clients.
He does data entry, looking after clients information and files and multiple other jobs which he is assigned to daily.
